Ankara Province is a province located in central Turkey. Its area is 25.615 km2. , population 4.007.860 (2000 census).
It is surrounded by the provinces of Bolu and Çankiri to the north, Kirikkale to the east, Kirsehir and Aksaray to the south-east,
Konya to the south, and Eskisehir to the west. Its capital is the city of Ankara, also the capital of Turkey.
