Nigde is a province in the Central Anatolian Region of Turkey. Its capital is the city of Nigde. The province population is 348,081
(2000 census) with the area of 7,318 km². Its neighbour provinces are Kayseri, Adana, Mersin, Konya, Aksaray and Nevsehir.
